Veracity boosts its staff with new investigator

CARMEL, IN – Veracity IIR, a global intelligence, investigation and research firm consisting of retired FBI and other federal law enforcement agents that specialize in corporate risk management and legal action support, welcomes its newest investigator, Dan Taylor.

Taylor has a degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in Business Administration. He recently retired from a 20-year law enforcement career with the US Postal Inspection Service. Taylor has extensive investigative experience in a variety of cases, including the investigation of a serial arsonist who defrauded multiple insurance companies over a five-year period and mass marketing fraud involving vehicle service contracts sold to more than 10,000 victims sustaining over $100M in losses. He also served as an investigative supervisor focusing on training agents using innovative investigative techniques as they conduct quality investigations.

Taylor’s most recent assignment was serving as a Supervisory Special Agent where he supervised teams of federal agents investigating complex fraud schemes, narcotics trafficking, money laundering and workplace violence incidents. In addition, he has experience working with confidential informants, and using electronic surveillance, data mining, dark web research, social media analytics and other advanced tools. Taylor is an excellent addition to the Veracity team!
